Consider Studying the Amazing Children’s Literature, Media, and Cultural Entrepreneurship Programme
The Children’s Literature, Media, and Cultural Entrepreneurship (CLMCE) programme is a two-year Master’s programme that addresses the relationship between children’s and young adult’s texts, media and film. This relationship is crucial because it has an impact not only on what young people learn and produce, but also on social inclusion and on the cultural industries themselves, for example, publishing.
For the first year, students study in Glasgow and Aarhus University. In their second year, they can choose between three pathways at universities in Tilburg, Nantes or Wroclaw. During this semester, they participate in a work-based learning placement with a partner organisation related to publishing, media or film. They will also have the option of attending a summer school in Mainz, Germany or a non-European summer school in Vancouver, Canada.

CLMCE provides exciting opportunities for students to consider their role in the construction of historical and contemporary childhoods, as well as the expansion of the industry around it. It is designed for students with diverse prior knowledge and experience and particularly for those seeking to obtain an international perspective in these areas.
The Programme also provides wider employability opportunities to become future managers, entrepreneurs, and leaders for cultural institutions with a specific focus on publishing and reading promotion.
