ESCP examines how education systems are designed, governed and reformed, particularly in early years and compulsory education. The group’s work spans curriculum, assessment, policy design, governance and system-level change, drawing on comparative, historical and empirical perspectives. Research in ESCP engages with national and international debates on quality, coherence, accountability and the public purposes of education.
