Dr. Ben Hunter will chair a discussion about Dissertations: innovation, best practice and alternatives

Colleagues devote significant time to the organisation and supervision of dissertations and other forms of substantial independent work at Glasgow, but we rarely get the chance to come together to discuss how we approach it and to learn about the best practices and opportunities for innovation that exist.

This workshop is a chance to learn about experiences with different approaches within SPS, through a series of short presentations and discussion, including group supervision models, assessed participation components and 'challenge-based' dissertations.
