Public Engagement
All BBSRC PhD students are required to carry out two days of public engagement activities per year.
Example of public engagement can be:
- Helping at your local science festivalÂ
- Conservation activities
- Becoming a STEM ambassador
- Volunteering with community projects
- Science school visits /mentoring
- Presenting to lay visitors in a school environment
