We are committed to ensuring that everyone in our community feels supported and safe. A range of support services and resources are available for anyone who may need them, including:
- Academic Adjustments – If you need support with your studies, including extensions for assessments or adjustments to deadlines, we are here to help.
- Hardship Funds – There are financial aid options and hardship funds available for students who may be experiencing financial difficulties.
- Wellbeing Services – The university offers a variety of wellbeing support, including free and confidential counselling services.
- International Student Advice – Our international student advisers can assist with practical matters or any concerns about your wellbeing.
- Chaplaincy – Pastoral and spiritual support is also available for those who need it.
- 24 Hour Advice Line - You can speak to someone 24 hours a day via our Counselling and Advice line on 0800 028 3766 or via the Wisdom app.
- TalkCampus is a free, global wellbeing community for students, offering safe and anonymous peer support whenever you need it.
- Campus Security and Safezone - Campus Security is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If your travel has been disrupted or you need any other emergency support, reach out via the University’s SafeZone app.
