College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences

Readmission into Life Sciences

The application process will open on Friday, 1 May 2026 and close on Monday, 16 June 2026

Readmission Application

This application form is intended for use by previous Life Sciences students who have withdrawn from their studies and now wish to be considered for readmission to a degree programme within Life Sciences.

Applications will be considered by the Chief Adviser for Life Sciences. You will be contacted with the outcome, via email, prior to the start of session.

If you withdrew from your studies on medical grounds, you will be required to provide evidence that you are now fit to return to study by either submitting a doctor's letter or other appropriate evidence.

Students applying for readmission to Year 3 will go through the upcoming session’s Year 3 Entry process. At this time, we cannot confirm there will be space on your preferred degree plan. However, we will keep you updated on the Year 3 Entry process alongside your readmission application.

Readmission applications should be submitted by Monday, 16 June 2026. Applications may be considered after this date if there is a genuine reason for a late application.

Upper time limit

Please note that there is an upper time limit, including any years away from study, from the point of your initial registration as a student to the completion of your degree.

  • Six years for the award of an Honours Degree Programme
  • Five years for the award of a Designated Degree Programme
